Corrib Village

Corrib Village is a 764-bed student village offering comfortable apartments in one- and two-storey buildings, right on campus and within easy walking distance of classes and university amenities.

Apartments are traditional in style. Each apartment contains 3 or 4 bedrooms and a kitchen and living area for residents to share. Corrib Village offers the widest range of room types across the three on-campus residences. There are Twin, Single and Double room options and a mix of shared and ensuite bathrooms.

Originally built in the 1990s, Corrib Village is mid-way through a phased refurbishment programme. The refurbishment brings improved energy efficiency, the installation of solar panels, and refreshed interiors to enhance comfort, sustainability, and the overall student living experience. All refurbished apartments now achieve a BER rating of A3 or higher.

For the 2026-2027 academic year, both refurbished and non-refurbished apartments are available.

Please note, with the exception of Twin rooms, all rooms are for single occupancy and all apartments are allocated on a gender-inclusive basis.

Basic Twin Room

This room contains two single beds, a study space and storage. You will share this room with one other student. This apartment contains a kitchen, living area and two bathrooms shared between 5 students. Duvet, pillow and mattress protector supplied. This apartment has not yet been refurbished. Charges Explained

A booking deposit of €250 is required at the point of room offer to secure a reservation.

A rental deposit is also required before the start of the tenancy. The rental deposit combined with the booking deposit, is held as security during your stay and is refundable at the end of the tenancy.

Rental fees for the academic year are payable in 9 instalments.

Utility charges are not included in the rent. A utility prepayment is required before check-in, which is used to cover usage during the year.

Utility consumption is reviewed monthly for each apartment, and charges are deducted from your prepayment on a pro-rata basis. If total usage exceeds the prepaid amount, you will need to pay the difference. Any surplus will be refunded to you.

*Please note that the listed utility prepayment for Corrib Village is subject to change before the start of the academic year. It is expected that utility prepayments for refurbished apartments will be reduced.
