Located just minutes from Galway city centre, and within close proximity of the stunning landscapes of Connemara, Goldcrest Village is an ideal base for experiencing the sights and sounds of Galway and the wonders of the Wild Atlantic Way!

Goldcrest Village, which is situated on the parkland campus of NUI Galway, is comprised of 76 apartments overlooking modern courtyards.

Guests have the option of booking either a full apartment or else a bedroom-only within an apartment. Find out more below!

Note: due to COVID-19, bedroom-only bookings are not currently possible.

Although Goldcrest Village is comprised of apartments, guests can choose to book a bedroom-only within an apartment.

A choice of single en suite and double en suite rooms are available and all are supplied with clean linen and fresh, soft towels.

*Complimentary parking is provided on the grounds of Corrib Village for all our summer residents (excluding blue-lined Pay & Display spaces, for which payment is required). No permit is required. However a permit is required in all other areas of the University campus (excluding blue-lined Pay & Display spaces, for which payment is required). Please note that strict clamping is in operation in all areas outside of Corrib Village gates and in Pay & Display areas both inside and outside Corrib Village.

Check-in time is from 4:00pm to 8:00pm.
Check-out time is 10:00am.

Apartment bookings: Guests are provided with linen and towels on arrival. Should you require additional items during your stay, please contact reception.

Room bookings*: Fresh towels are provided daily and linen is changed every seventh day.
*Note: due to COVID-19, bedroom-only bookings are not currently possible.

Cancellation Policy and Payment Information

Cancellation policy: 48 hours in advance generally.

Payment: Due to COVID-19, payment must be made before arrival, over the phone. For groups, payment is due 2 weeks before arrival.

Noise/Damage deposit: A noise and damage deposit of €50 per room is required. Please don’t worry, this money is completely refundable after departure, provided that the group is respectful of other guests and our facilities. This payment must be made by card. It is processed as a pre-authorisation on a debit or credit card. Please bear in mind that it can take up to 10 working days for the hold on your funds to be reversed.

Rooming List

If you’re booking more than one apartment, you must provide a rooming list 2 weeks in advance. This does not apply to families.

Age Restriction / Terms & Conditions

All guests as part of all bookings must be over 25 years of age. An ID will be required at check-in. Failure to provide a valid ID for all members of booking will result in the cancellation of the entire reservation. Not applicable for family bookings.
