COVID-19 Policy Statement

This COVID-19 policy outlines our commitment to implement the response plan and help prevent the spread of the virus. Campus Living is committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for all our customers and staff. All managers, supervisors and staff are responsible for the implementation of this plan and a combined effort will help contain the spread of the virus.

We have:

• Made a commitment to continuously monitor our COVID-19 response and amend this plan in consultation with our staff
• Prepared COVID – 19 risk assessments. These have been added to our documentation and communicated across the entire staff.
• Trained our staff – all have undergone induction in relation to COVID – 19, as required
• Provided up to date information to our staff on the Public Health advice issued by the HSE and
• Displayed information on the signs and symptoms of COVID-19 and correct hand-washing techniques for staff
• Informed all staff of essential hygiene and respiratory etiquette and physical distancing requirements
• Adapted the workplace to facilitate physical distancing
• Set up a system to keep a log of visitors to help with contact tracing
• Developed a procedure to be followed in the event of someone showing symptoms of COVID-19 while at work or in the workplace
• Provided instructions for workers to follow if they develop signs and symptoms of COVID-19 during work
• Intensified cleaning in line with government advice in apartments and all public areas.

In order to improve the customer journey within a safe environment and reduce contact with staff while you are with us, we have implemented the following:

• Pre-pay by card on day of arrival
• On-line check-in service
• Express check out
• Sanitisation of all guest keys
• Removing items from the bedrooms like a guest directory but providing a QR code for listing of services offered and providing the guest with a 1 time use welcome and safety letter
• Cleaning our common areas – block stairwells, hallways, entrances and exits and laundry facilities – daily with disinfectants recommended to combat the virus and touch points twice daily
• We have mounted hand sanitation stations at all entry and exit points to accommodation
• We have instituted a one-way system at reception to limit the flow of foot traffic passing and interacting unnecessarily.
• PPE is available to purchase in our vending machine.

Unfortunately, at this time we will not be providing some of our previously advertised services, as follows:

• Free shuttle bus
• Shop/Café
• Games Room

We request that all guests observe the safety precautions put in place and we appreciate your co-operation and patience during your stay.
