Free Shuttle Bus Service to-from City Centre
We provide a complimentary shuttle bus service between Corrib Village and the city centre, which departs from reception every hour on the hour and picks up opposite the Coach Station on Fairgreen Road (behind the Tourist Office*) on the half-hour as follows (please note that times are subject to change):

*The Tourist Office is located next to the main bus and train station of Galway city. If you are arriving to Galway by train or bus, please avail of our shuttle bus to bring you to Corrib Village. Note that it is a white minibus and spaces are allocated on a first-come-first served basis.
Didn’t have time to pack those last-minute essentials? Don’t worry, Corrib Village has its very own convenience shop, which means you can stock up once you arrive! We sell tea, coffee, fresh fruit and vegetables, dairy products, meat products, toiletries and more.
Corrib Village offers a coin-operated, self-service laundrette, which is open daily, from 7:00am to 11:00pm.
The Games Room is the perfect place to relax after an activity-filled day. Drop by for a game of pool or to just hang out with friends.
As Corrib Village is located on the grounds of NUI Galway, guests have the fantastic option to book (for an additional fee) the sports facilities at the University, which include a multi-purpose sports hall, tennis and squash courts, all-weather pitches, plus a synthetic track. There is also a gymnasium, fitness centre and health unit with saunas, changing rooms and fun fitness classes.
Apart from sports facilities, NUI Galway has much to offer. The University, which was established in 1845, boasts 15 cafés/restaurants, showcases stunning modern architecture and is also steeped in history. Take a day to explore the old and the new, from the beautiful Quadrangle building which holds an art gallery and museum, to the architectural gem that is the University’s new Engineering Building, all of which are located only a few minutes from Corrib Village. What’s not to love?
