Free Shuttle Bus Service to City Centre
For your convenience, we provide a complimentary shuttle bus service from Corrib Village to the city centre, which runs from 12.00pm to 8.00pm daily. This shuttle bus departs from Corrib Village reception every hour on the hour and picks up outside the Coach Station, Fairgreen Road (behind the Tourist Office* on Forster St.) on the half-hour as follows (please note that times are subject to change):

*The Tourist Office is located next to the main bus and train station of Galway city. If you are arriving to Galway by train or bus, please avail of our shuttle bus to bring you to Corrib Village. Note that it is a white ‘Corrib Village’ minibus with yellow writing and also note that spaces are allocated on a first-come-first served basis.
Didn’t have time to pack those last-minute essentials? Don’t worry, Corrib Village has its very own convenience shop, which means you can stock up once you arrive.
Corrib Village offers a coin-operated, self-service laundrette, which is open daily, from 7:00am to 11:00pm.
The Games Room is the perfect place to relax after an activity-filled day. Guests can choose to drop by for a game of pool or just hang out with friends.
As Corrib Village is located on the grounds of NUI Galway, guests have the fantastic option to book the sports facilities at the University, which include a multi-purpose sports hall, tennis and squash courts, all-weather pitches, plus a synthetic track. There are also numerous sporting facilities off-campus which are very close by (please note that local charges apply), such as the Connacht Sports Ground (Connacht Rugby) and the Greyhound Track.
Apart from sports facilities, NUI Galway has much to offer. The University, which was established in 1845, boasts 15 cafés/restaurants, showcases stunning modern buildings and is also steeped in history. Take a day to explore the old and the new, from the beautiful Quadrangle building which holds an art gallery and museum, to the architectural gem that is the University’s new Engineering Building, all of which are located only a few minutes from the city centre.
