Corrib Village is comprised of 176 purpose-built, non-smoking apartments. Accommodating four or five students (which can be a mix of male and female), each apartment contains a shared living room/kitchen and is fully equipped with all that you could possibly need, including a cooker, microwave, crockery, cooking utensils, a fridge with freezer and a digital television with seating area. There is plenty of storage space, with a large study area and shelving in every bedroom. All rooms have telephones with free room-to-room calls and an incoming call facility with free voicemail.

When booking a place in Corrib Village, students can choose between a room in an apartment with shared bathroom facilities or a room in an apartment with ensuite bathroom facilities. The two different types are explained in the sections below.

Apartments with Shared Bathroom Facilities

These apartments cater for four or five people and each contains one double bedroom (accommodates one), one twin bedroom (accommodates two), one or two single bedrooms, a bathroom, a guest toilet and a living room/kitchen. All apartments were designed with students in mind, providing you with the comfort and security of a home away from home.

Apartments with Ensuite Bathroom Facilities

In addition to ensuite bathrooms, these apartments have the added convenience of a chest freezer and dishwasher. Each apartment consists of one single ensuite bedroom (accommodates one) with individual shower and toilet, one double ensuite bedroom (accommodates one) with individual shower and toilet, and one double and one single bedroom sharing an interconnected ensuite bathroom. Each apartment also has a guest toilet, a living/dining room and a kitchen.

House Rules & Disciplinary Procedures

It should be noted that all Corrib Village residents must abide by certain House Rules and Disciplinary Procedures, which are outlined in our 2014 Corrib Village Student Handbook.

Eviction or Early Departure

If a student is evicted, no refunds of rental will be made.

In the case of early departure, the onus is on the student to find someone to take their room. Until a replacement has been found, the student will not be refunded. Please note that when a student leaves, Corrib Village management have the right to move another resident into that student’s vacant room. If this occurs, however, the student must still find a replacement for the room which is vacant.
