Corrib Village Apartments

Corrib Village is comprised of 176 purpose-built, non-smoking apartments.

Accommodating four or five students (can be a mix of male and female), each apartment has a shared living room/kitchen that is fully equipped with all you could possibly need, including a fridge, cooker, microwave, crockery, cooking utensils and a seating area with digital television.

Bedrooms have plenty of storage space, a study desk with chair and a telephone with free room-to-room calls and free voicemail.

When booking a place in Corrib Village, students can choose between a room in an apartment with shared bathroom facilities or a room in an apartment with ensuite bathroom facilities. The two different types are explained in the sections below.

Apartments with Shared Bathroom Facilities

These apartments cater for four or five people and each contains one double bedroom (accommodates one), one twin bedroom (accommodates two), one or two single bedrooms, a bathroom, a guest toilet and a living room/kitchen.

Apartments with Ensuite Bathroom Facilities

In addition to ensuite bathrooms, these apartments have the added convenience of a separate freezer and dishwasher. Each apartment consists of one single ensuite bedroom (accommodates one) with individual shower and toilet, one double ensuite bedroom (accommodates one) with individual shower and toilet, and one double and one single bedroom sharing an interconnected ensuite bathroom. Each apartment also has a guest toilet, a living/dining room and a kitchen.

Students are responsible for cleaning their own apartments. However, weekly inspections are carried out to ensure that an acceptable standard of cleanliness is maintained throughout the academic term. Students are liable for the cost of engaging contract cleaners where apartments are being neglected.

Students moving to Corrib Village need to bring the following items:

Corrib Village has 24-hour Wi-Fi which is accessible throughout the village. Wi-Fi is provided by a third party supplier and so, no technical support is offered by Corrib Village.

House Rules & Disciplinary Procedures

It should be noted that all Corrib Village residents must abide by certain House Rules and Disciplinary Procedures, which are outlined in our 2017 Corrib Village Student Handbook.

Eviction or Early Departure

If a student is evicted, no refunds of rental will be made.

In the case of early departure, the onus is on the student to find someone to take their room. Until a replacement has been found, the student will not be refunded.

Please note that when a student leaves, Corrib Village management have the right to move another resident into that student’s vacant room. If this occurs, however, the student must still find a replacement for the room which is vacant.
